2x1 Batten Rough Sawn
Cladding Battens
Available in Western Red Cedar or Larch, which are both extremely durable softwoods, making them perfect for outdoor use.
Choose from lengths of 1200mm, 1800mm, 2400mm, 3600mm or 4800mm.
Priced at £1.20 per metre length (linear metre).
Price includes VAT at 20%. This is a natural product and will have knots, irregularities and imperfections. Splits, cracks, warps, wane and wormholes may be present. Fixing stainless steel nails are recommended on Western Red Cedar to prevent staining. Using regular nails will cause black staining over time.
*Please note, this is the price for rough sawn timber off the sawmill; there may be varying widths and depths. The timber has not been dried or treated.

Live Edge/Waney Edge Cladding
Available in Larch or Western Red Cedar, which are both extremely durable softwoods, making them perfect for outdoor use.
Choose from lengths of 2400mm, 3600mm or 4800mm.
The thickness of the board is 18mm.
The board width ranges from 150mm-250mm.
These characteristics cladding boards offer a traditional, rustic style with one edge cut straight while the other edge has the original characteristics of the tree, so its waney edge/shape and bark.
Larch and Cedar are perfect for cladding the outside of buildings due to its durability and natural preservatives. Treatment with a UV oil is only recommended if you want to prevent the colour from turning a silvery grey, which it naturally will if left to the elements.
*Please note, when measuring the area to be covered, you will need to add on an extra 25% for the overlap, (recommended 50mm overlap)

*please note that the timber has not been dried or treated and is cut fresh to order.
**Red Cedar and Larch do not require treating as they both have a natural preservative. However, wood will naturally change colour to a silvery grey; if you wish to maintain the fresh cut colour, you can apply protective UV oil.

Delivery prices will depend on the size of the pallet which is determined by the length of the timber you need and your postcode. Please see below examples of pallet delivery costs.

Timber length up to 1200mm delivery cost £47-£75+VAT
Timber length between 1201mm-2400mm delivery cost between £94-£150+VAT
Timber length between 2401mm-3600mm delivery cost between £141-£225+VAT
Timber length 3601mm-4800mm delivery cost between £188-£300+VAT
*Please note a surcharge of £5 is added for residential deliveries.
